Happy Friday Loves! This week has been a great one and I am super excited because tomorrow I am heading out to Long Island with Taylor for FIVE WHOLE DAYS! I cant wait to see all my family and friends and relax for a bit! I still have to pack (which I am totally dreading) but since I am driving I can bring everything but the kitchen sink and don’t have to worry about luggage weight and paring down to the essentials. Needless to say, I plan to bring everything that I own.
1. Sephora Play Box
After months of languishing on the waiting list I finally got the email last week that I was able to sign up for Sephora’s Play Box! Of course I subscribed right away! Does anyone else get the Play Box? What do you think?
2. Gwen Stefani Tix
I have been a Gwen Stefani fan since Tragic Kingdom. I love her and so does Taylor. We have been listening to her new album on repeat since it’s release and the other day I was able to scoop up some tickets to her upcoming Summer tour! I am so excited!
I just discovered this Twitter account and I am totally obsessed with it! He is the Father of four girls and his tweets sum up parenthood perfectly. Here are some of my faves:
Me: You can't like Kylo Ren. He killed his dad.
5-year-old: Maybe he deserved it.
I'm never sleeping again.

5-year-old: I drew a llamaman.
Me: What's that?
5: *rolls her eyes* A man who's a llama, Dad.
I have so much to learn about everything.

4. Dough Donuts.
I have a huge sweet tooth and recently I discovered Dough Donuts. I am pretty much obsessed. Has anyone else tried these? The toasted coconut flavor is amazeballs.
5. Taylor’s Middle School Acceptance.
I have definitely saved the best for last with this post! We received notification earlier in the week that Taylor got accepted into a very prestigious middle school for next Fall! That may not seem like a huge deal but the NYC public school system is kind of like a ladder. This is the first rung and it puts Taylor on the path to potentially gain acceptance into a decent high school and then college. NYC schools are notoriously competitive and the process for securing a seat at a good middle school felt similar to applying for colleges. To put things into perspective a little more, there were 7,820 applicants for the 456 seats at this school. There are special tests and interviews. It is a far cry from the way I grew up in the suburbs where you just go to the school up the block.
Alright loves, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and spend some time outdoors enjoying this beautiful weather! xo
