Today marks A Little Glitter‘s ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!  I cant believe it has been a whole year!  I guess time flies when you’re having fun!  

I can think of no better way to mark this momentous occasion than a fabulous photo shoot and a GIGANTIC giveaway! 

A Little Glitter Blogiversary GiveawayA Little Glitter Blogiversary GiveawayA Little Glitter Blogiversary GiveawayOne of the things I love most about running ALG is the opportunity to meet incredible people.  I am shocked by the lovely, intelligent and genuine individuals that I get to interact with every day.  When I started this blog I was worried that I would be mean-girled by other bloggers.  I was afraid that they would gang up on me because I was a newbie or be mean to me because I was their competition.  I have seen chat rooms and forums filled with awful internet trolls and I assumed bloggers would be the same.  I am pleased to say that I was totally wrong.  Everyone I’ve gotten to know  has been amazing and I am happy to report that some of you guys have even become my friends in real life.  

Speaking of “in real life”…I need to give major props to two people.  Number one is my hubby.  He is a huge support system for me and always there to help with my sometimes harebrained (but always fun) ideas.  Without him I wouldn’t even have this blog and he deserves a lot of credit for listening to me talk about it endlessly without rolling his eyes.

Another person that I need to thank is Frank Pensabene.  He is the only photographer I use.   I can call him and tell him that I want to do a blogiversary photo shoot and he will let me bounce ideas off of him and not think I am crazy (or at least not verbalize that).  Even as I get more out of control by deciding to wear a full length sequin gown, order a white sheepskin rug, get a fake cake and buy tons of balloons he doesnt bat an eye.  I dont know many straight men that would embrace that type of behavior.  Frank shot the pictures and our Christmas pictures (which came out amazing and will be on the blog next week).  Here is a ink to his website.  If you are in the NYC Metro Area and need a photographer I highly recommend him.

Another favorite thing that I get to do as a blogger is host giveaways!  In order to thank you for making this such a great year, I have put together a MASSIVE and FABULOUS contest!  Sharing things with my readers makes me so happy!  Like with most things, I couldn’t stop myself from going big on this.
