Real Techniques Bold Metals Line Review {+ a GIVEAWAY!}

Square Insta Picture

Good morning loves!  I hope you all kept warm during the snowstorm! Thankfully, we didn’t get the massive amount of snow that was predicted!  Don’t get me wrong, we still got a bunch but I was pretty happy that I didn’t have to dig our cars out of two feet or more!

One lovely side effect of the storm was a day off from work.  After I finished shoveling, I was able to drink a glass of wine and play around with the Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes I received at the launch party a few weeks ago.  While I have been using them since the event, I got the chance yesterday to watch a few tutorials and really get a feel for them (instead of just rushing to put my makeup on at 6 am).

They are sleek and luxurious and they work great.  The tapered bristles hold the product so well and I love the weighted feel of the brush.  They make applying makeup feel very fancy!

The Bold Metals Collection uses a color-coded system that corresponds to the key steps of makeup application: gold = base; platinum = eye; rose gold = finish.  I have chosen my favorite brush from each color category and the sweet team over at Real Techniques is going to give away a set to one lucky ALG reader!  The winner will receive:

Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush 101

Real Techniques Bold Metals 202

Real Techniques Bold Metals 301

I will pick a winner on February 5, 2015 at 7 am EST.  You can enter using the Rafflecopter widget below.  Good luck!  xx

    I’m seriously in love with this line. When they came out I was in awe over how beautiful they are. They all look fantastic but I’m smitten with the Flat Contour brush. It’s unlike anything else I have ever seen and it looks wonderful!

    I like the 301 Flat Contour. Looks awesome plus I love the rose color. I don’t own any brushes so these would be wonderful! kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.

    I love the triangle foundation brush! I think it would make it easier to apply foundation with all the curves of the face. I’m crossing my fingers! Thanks for the great reviews!
