Happy Monday Loves! You may have been able to glean from the title of this post (or the big picture above) that today is the beginning of my series of holiday gift guides! Continue reading
I must admit that I have only recently realized that I am an uncoordinated nerd. All the signs were there. I fall constantly, hit my elbows on most doorways I walk through, pull my back out while shaving my legs. I probably should have caught on sooner. Even though running and exercising are far from graceful or effortless for me, it doesn’t mean that I will stop. I still want to live a healthy lifestyle (even if it means some bumps and bruises along the way). This is one of the reasons I cant get enough of the Olympics! I love to live vicariously through the athletes. The Summer games are my fave! I LOVE to watch the gymnasts and pretend that I am as lithe and graceful as they are. Continue reading
This year I am SUPER excited about taking Taylor back to school shopping for new clothes! Not only is she starting Middle School but the 90’s are BACK and I am loving all the styles from my youth! I can’t wait to buy her some cute chokers and a mini-backpack!
We will be heading over to Macy’s in Staten Island on August 20th for their Back To School Shopping Party! There will be free 90’s-inspired beauty makeovers, styling tips and fashion must haves, plus a DJ, sweet treats and a photobooth! Plus, when you spend $35 or more in mstylelab you’ll receive a free gift!
They are hosting these free shopping parties all over the Country, so check out this link to find out when to stop by your local Macy’s! If you are in Staten Island, come by and hang out with me and my girl!
This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Macy’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
There are so many parts of being a girl that I love! The makeup and the beauty products and the purses! My God! I love the purses! One thing that I could totally do without though would be the periods. Are ya with me? I am sure you are nodding. Continue reading
I don’t know how this happened but suddenly it is August and time to really start preparing for back to school! If I am honest I have to admit that I am stressed about Taylor going into middle school. The past few Falls were easy because she was returning to the same school and it was familiar. Now, we are entering uncharted territory and I am so nervous.
I know it will be a great experience for her and I keep reminding myself that we were very lucky to get this spot. I am also comforted by the fact that she is going along with two of her best friends, so she wont be all alone. Yet, still I have this awful anxious feeling in the back of my mind. One thing that helps me feel more calm is to prepare for her first day and check things off my list. Thankfully, Nicole Feliciano and her team at Momtrends have me covered with a run-down of all things new and trendy for the little ones! Continue reading
