Fri-Nally!

Happy Friday guys!  This week was long but definitely action-packed!  Yesterday was my birthday and it was totally fabulous!  I got my hair done at Dry Bar, ate Shake Shack for lunch with my co-workers and went to a restaurant for dinner where Italian Grandmothers are the chefs.  Cool idea, right?  Some of my other favorites for this week are:

1. B’s Birthday!  I would like to wish my friend B from The Sequin Notebook a very happy birthday!  Not only are we both Pisces but we are turning 33 just two days apart!  We are meeting up Monday for a fun joint birthday celebration lunch!

2.  Pretty Little Liars Season Finale.  This episode was so full of twists and turns!  Did anyone else watch it?  I have to admit that I screamed when this happened:

3.  Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at the Canada State Dinner.  Blake got a lot of flack for this look and people joked that it looked like a bathrobe but I love it.  I think it is very classy and different.  It is not the usual dress shape and she took a chance here but I think it paid off.  I may be biased though.  I love her so much that she could wear a garbage bag and I would think it is chic.  Haha!

4. Treathouse.  My bestie sent me a package of assorted rice krispie treats for my birthday from Treathouse and they were AMAZING!  Not only were they cute but they were also delicious!  My co-workers shared them with me and we were all blown away.  I will definitely be sending these to friends in the future!

5. Cats on Broadway.  Taylor got me the best gift!  She and I love to go to Broadway musicals.  We have seen Wicked, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Peter and the Starcatcher, Shrek and Matilda.   CATS is coming back to Broadway in July so she got me tickets!  How fun is that?  I never got to see it and I am so excited to go!  Perfect gift for a crazy cat lady such as myself!

Those rice krispy treats are such a fun idea and although it does look like a robe, I kinda like her dress! I hope you have a great weekend! xx

I’m only on season 4 of PLL, but I’m kind of keeping up with the current season thanks to social media even though I’m trying not to because I’m so confused, haha. So fun to see Cats & those rice krispie treats look amazing!

Happy happy belated birthday–hope you had a wonderful day. Sounds like it was a blast! And I still have NOT been to Shake Shack, can you believe it?! And that was so thoughtful of your daughter to get Cats tickets. I had no idea it was coming back to Broadway (okay, time to crawl out from under my rock, I guess, lol).

PS: that place with the grandmothers cooking–is it on Staten Island? I think I may have heard about it on the radio and I totally want to check it out 🙂 Who doesn’t love Italian cooking?!

It sounds like you had the best time celebrating your birthday yesterday, and even got to celebrate some with B too! A trip to see a Broadway play sounds like the perfect present! I hope you have a great time celebrating even more this weekend!

Oh my gosh, I squealed at that part too!!! I think I scared the crap out of Chris because we were eating dinner while watching that episode and he had looked down at his plate and then I screamed and he was like umm wtf just happened?!?! Yikes!!! There were some twists for sure. So we think that Alison’s mom is the twin?!?! Crazy town!!!

Sounds like you had a fabulous birthday!!! Those rice crispie treats look wonderful! So cool you and B are two days apart!!! I am turning 33 later this year 🙂 Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!! Oh and I like her dress too!

i haven’t watched PLL in a couple years but even I screamed a bit in that little video. wtf!

blake’s dress does look a little bathrobe-y, but i’m with you – she would look gorgeous in anything, and go her for daring to be a little different!

Awww!! I love that Taylor got you tickets to Cats!! That’s totally the best!! The only thing distracting me about Blake’s dress is how she’s standing!! She’s usually so put together…. I love that shade on her, too! Ugh it’s so unfair how gorgeous she is!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the dress, but I still think Blake Lively looked amazing 🙂 I totally freaked out during the PLL finale too. I’m kind of confused, but super excited for the next season!!!
