Happy Friday Lovelies! I hope you all had a nice week! Please excuse my erratic posting schedule lately but I have been enjoying my Summer and not taking my blogging too seriously. When I have something fun to share, I do but if I don’t or I am too busy I am trying not to stress about it. I am going to make this a quick one because I am heading up to the Catskills in a little bit for a long weekend! Please pray that the weather holds out for me because the forecast is looking like a lot of rain.
1. Bad Moms
If you follow me on Insta you may have seen some pics from last night’s screening. I got a chance to see a fun preview of this film and attend a Q&A afterwards with Mila Kunis (total girlcrush) and Kathry Hahn! Let me just say: these ladies are totally flawless in person! The movie was hilarious and I highly recommend you check it out whether you are a Mom or not!
2. Falling by Jane Green
I have been blowing through my Summer Reading List lately and I just finished Falling. For some reason I did not have high expectations for this book. I thought it would be your average beach read but nothing to write home about. I did not anticipate how connected I would feel to the main character or the unexpected twists and turns of this novel. It was nothing like I thought it would be and I was so pleasantly surprised. Definitely add this one to your list!
3. Gwen Stefani
Taylor and I went to the Gwen Stefani concert last week! I have been a huge fan of hers since Just A Girl but for some reason I have never seen her live. When these tickets went up for sale I snatched them right up. This was a major bucketlist item for me! She looked fabulous in person, has the sickest abs ever, her voice is spectacular and she played a lot of her older, fan favorites! When Just A Girl came on the crowd went crazy. There was a really great energy in the audience that night. Her tour just started so if you are a fan you should see if she is coming to a City near you!
4. Gilmore Girls Trailer
I am stupid excited over the Gilmore Girls reboot! I wish that Lorelai would tone it down with the facial fillers (because she is looking a TAD Michael Jackson) but otherwise I have no complaints, it looks awesome and I cant wait!
5. Ice Bucket Challenge
Remember the Ice Bucket Challenge? Taylor and I did it a while back. It wound up being so popular on social media that the ALS Foundation raised $100 million and they were able to identify a gene that was found to be one of the most common in people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. How awesome is that?
Okay guys – I hope you have a fabulous weekend and spend it doing something Summery and fantastic. Fall is creeping up on us so get your warm weather fun in while you can! xo
