You know you had a busy weekend when you are relieved to get to work on Monday and just sit down. Life has been GO GO GO for the past few days. (All good things but hectic nonetheless.) On Saturday morning I woke up and headed into the East Village to meet up some NYC blogging gals for brunch. The lovely B & M from the Sequin Notebook organized it and their attention to detail astounds me. When we arrived they presented us with adorable mini-champagne bottles with personalized, embossed tags and NYC taxi cookies. It was such a thoughtful gift. I was really blown away! The restaurant they chose had unlimited Prosecco and some delish pizza. I was a happy girl! It was so nice to meet up and share ideas and ask questions of people that share the same hobby. My real life girlfriends don’t blog. They don’t even always read my blog and that’s okay. I’m sure they get enough of me IRL.
I was loving my hair so I had to stop and take a selfie!
I got to enjoy this beautiful view on my way into NYC.
How cute are these favors from the Sequin Notebook?
This pizza was so yummy!
After spending a few hours chatting, drinking and laughing we went over to the Park Central Hotel for the Simply Stylist Conference. On the way we noticed a ton of Christmas decorations so I ran across to find out what was going on (apparently they were shooting a Jeep commercial) and had Santa take a selfie with me. Rest assured – he advised that I’ve been a very good girl this year.
Once at the Simply Stylist Convention we mingled with some great vendors and other bloggers and got a giant swag bag. I cant believe all of the awesome stuff that was packed in there!
I also got a chance to talk to Rebecca of Harper Hallam jewelry. I was blown away by her gorgeous pieces! Those hot pink earrings need to be on my ears yesterday!
How cute are these headbands from that Madonna Girl? Coachella here I come!
So much fun was had on Saturday and another blogger brunch is needed in the very near future!
Sunday morning started off bright and early with a makeup game for Taylor’s soccer team. It was at a field right near the beach and the wind was whipping. I froze my butt off.
After the game ended we went home and freshened up. T did some homework and we ate lunch. Then, we went over to Coney Island! We take Taylor there every year and she was finally tall enough to ride the Cyclone! We weren’t able to make it to the park sooner and yesterday was it’s final day of the season.
All in all it was a fabulous weekend! I am linking up with Biana for weekending! If you get a chance, swing by BLovedBoston and check her out.
